Building a better food system from the soil up
About
We are a social enterprise determined to build a better food system from the soil up with our community of farmers, growers, producers and customers.
It's nowt flash - sometimes chaotic, always delicious - but we believe it’s simple changes to how we grow, buy and consume our food that can transform our food system for the better.
Visit us at our twice weekly markets Wednesdays 5 - 6 30pm and Saturdays 10 - 11 30pm at Tang Hall Community Centre.
Markets
Our twice weekly markets are at the heart of the business. Find us at Tang Hall Community Centre on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings to stock up on the very best fruit, veg, meat, bread, eggs and dairy - fresh and direct from our small scale producers.

Chef Jim
Meet Chef Jim - our secret weapon. Jim utilises all the unsold market produce (keeping us waste free!) and constantly jars away the seasons to build up a delicious pantry of preserves, pickles and ferments - providing a true taste of the Food Circle network. You won't have tasted ‘owt like it.
To sample Jim's food, visit his yellow trailer at our twice weekly markets, look out for pop up events, or book us for your special catering jobs.

Building for the future
Lasting and resilient change does not happen overnight. We support long term projects we believe will aid and strengthen our network of small scale, sustainable food producers. Cooperative thinking is key. Sharing infrastructure, knowledge, work load and investment can make the difference.
